Valve worked hard making their game, and if you’re going to play it for any length of time, you SHOULD purchase it.

   Have you noticed the rapid decline of game developers making PC games? Why are they all switching to producing console games? Well my friends it’s because you decided to “Download Games Free” instead of contributing. The costs of developing games are rising, so it doesn’t make sense to release a title on the PC full of piracy when the game developers can release it on a console like the xbox360, PS3 or Wii and rest easy knowing software piracy on those platforms are near impossible.

2. You Should Feel Guilty

   The game developers work many many months, sometimes years on a game and to have you only search for titles like “Download CS without Steam” you’re literally taking that hard work they put into the game and robbing them from their wallets. Being a game developer is a hard job and it’s getting harder everyday.    Stealing is never good, the more people that steal… the legitimate people end up suffering as well. Game developers begin to raise the cost of their games to offset the amount of software piracy. One day you’ll decide it’s worth paying for games and end up spending twice as much as you would have if the industry hadn’t been forced to raise prices to offset your previous thievery.

   Downloading free game is illegal almost everywhere. Don’t do it. If you want free, just download the many free game demos available from around the net.
