Introduction

It's been a long time coming. It was thought to never see the light of day. It had sat in financial and production limbo. Its "when-it's-done" release date felt more like a never. But finally, after long bloody last, Duke Nukem is back just like we remember him... only a bit shorter (I swear).

So after twelve long years of waiting is this the Duke Nukem game we have expected? For the most part yes, although when you have twelve years of anticipation to curve your bias there's bound to be some letdowns. Read on to find out what I mean.
