No April Fools Joke this year
To everyone that was expecting a massive, elaborate April Fools Day joke, I’m sorry to inform you, there won’t be one. Not now, and not ever. Some of you may remember our prank last year that had our site off the charts in web traffic, “Valve to shutdown CS 1.6“.
After much discussion, Cog and I decided that Next Level Gamer needs to maintain a professional journalistic approach and we believe that by adding “gags” or “pranks” on April Fool’s day we’d just cheapens the experience we’re trying to portray to our valued users.
On a completely un-related note, Valve is working with Paramount Pictures to create a Left 4 Dead Movie.
